code_swarm is a very cool application created by Michael Ogawa that takes the history of changes to a software project and creates a video describing those changes over time. The videos remind me of watching a massive space battle in a sci-fi movie. The visualizations that code_swarm produces are not interactive, but they should be. It would be useful to have the ability to zoom into a particular area or toggle developers and file types on and off.I could also see this type of visualization being very useful in tracking personal or cooperate cash flow.
