  I've decided. I'm done thinking about it. I'm done meeting new frameworks and blind dates with hand coded one off train wrecks and two birds are a stone. I made this decision weeks ago. Way back before Addy was even born (I'm an obsessed new dad) I made this decision on phixda's first birthday.   I know this may not seem fitting for the context of this blog, but we do focus on usability and to me the usability of tangible things is something we can discuss as well. With that stated I finally have the chance to use the CA Redemption value seen on recyclable products. The "usability" aspect of glass bottles, aluminum cans and plastics is enormous.   I really don't know what happened. I took was using the facebook ap to upload a photo of the beer I was drinking and it just sorts crapped out on me. I watched it spin and than there was just a black screen and the apple logo. My burger came so I tabled my iPhone.   I was browsing the NASA website looking for panoramas of the Mars mission when i noticed that they had animated elements. Naturally, I coupled my curiosity with Firebug and the WebDev toolbar and discovered that they're using the Scriptaculous JavaScript framework. I asked Google what the top 100 companies to work for are and went to each website to see what they're using for their JavaScript/UI needs.   I was looking into best form practices and I stumbled upon this PDF slide show which has a lot of information and examples of existing web-forms. It goes on to describe styling issues from content grouping to placement of labels and excessive visual noise. Why one thing might be better than another given the circumstances and application of the form. Also, it’s mostly pictures of forms with some bulleted slides here and there.
