It was bound to happen. I’ll make a short story long…
For years we’ve had $23 analog cable from comcast. 2 weeks ago our cable went out. 1 week ago comcast came out to fix it. Comcast no longer supports the old analog boxes so they fixed our cable by forcing us to go digital. There is a considerable improvement in the picture but we now get fewer channels. We get 3,6 and 10. We don’t get comedy central. Which means we watch the daily show on our laptop at hulu.com.
Last night, during one of the short advertisement breaks I got up to scoop icecream for Beth and I. The ad ended before I was done scooping so Beth paused the hulu player. I finished dishing and sat back down in the couch.
This is when it happened! I handed Beth her bowl and then reached over and tapped the play graphic on the laptop screen with my finger.
We lol
Won’t be long before you can do that. I know HP is doing it currently, pretty sure Bryan made a post about it. Apple is patenting the technology now I believe as well, as stated here.
But congrats, apparently its more intuitive to just touch something then drag a pointer over to it an click. I’m still jealous of the iPhone you have though, and I’m disappointed mac didn’t put a camera on the the new iPod Touch, slackers.
