A MacBook eh? They are good for small development but you should try to convince your boss to get a pro instead. Samantha has a MacBook and it serves her purposes just fine. We needed to upgrade the RAM a little while back but other then that its good. Slow on the load when you have multiple apps open, and I don't recommend using spaces with a macbook, just doesn't have the power.

In all Bryan's Pro is better then mine. I opted for the 2.2 ghz and 1 gb ram because it was affordable to me at the time. Bryan also makes good points regarding the parallels etc. I use bootcamp because I use windows to play games as well, don't know how that would work with Parallels.

Keep us updated on the iPhone saga. I'm still waiting till they put a camera on the iTouch, then I might join the darkside further.

At work I have:
 Model Name:	MacBook Pro
 Model Identifier:	MacBookPro4,1
Processor Name:	Intel Core 2 Duo
 Processor Speed:	2.4 GHz
 Number Of Processors:	1
 Total Number Of Cores:	2
 L2 Cache:	3 MB
 Memory:	4 GB
 Bus Speed:	800 MHz
 Boot ROM Version:	MBP41.00C1.B03
 SMC Version:	1.27f1

parallels Desktop (software) is useful, you can run WinXP in OS X, not next to it like bootcamp. its good for testing IE6 & Win FF (it renders text minutely different from Mac FF)

Good news is that i might get a mac book at work. I need to determine the specs for it. Anybody want to volunteer some input on what I would want from a mac book?
