Here we go. Much like the iPhone, this might kick off a big race to have the latest and greatest touchable gadget in your business. It is interesting to see how they are using surface at the casino. I would love to see some data connected to the metrics this is supposed to be tracking and processing. I would also love to see why Harrah’s chose Microsoft rather then a smaller company. I understand the need for accountability in a situation like this, but in tough economic times I would think it would be a wiser investment to spread the wealth rather then horde it amongst a few. This isn’t a political blog so I’ll stop there.
Well done to both Harrah’s and Microsoft. I can’t wait to see what the next two years bring for UX and IXD because of this.

At June’s PhillyCHI meeting someone from Avenue a | Razorfish said that the AT&T store at Times Square in New York City has a Microsoft Surface for visitors to experience.
I just learned that AT&T also has the Surface in stores located in Atlanta, San Antonio & San Francisco.
Also the Rio in Las Vegas has them in the iBar ultralounge
